All British Columbians, regardless of their ethnicity, socioeconomic status and geographic location, deserve equitable access to high-quality endoscopic care. As a member of the ASGE* Quality Assurance in Endoscopy Committee, Dr. Neal Shahidi co-authored recommendations targeting inequities in these populations. The goal of these recommendations will be extrapolated to the Canadian context to better serve all British Columbians.
