SPARC is pleased to announce that a Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) grant of $1,338,782 over four years has been awarded to a team led by Dr. Daniel von Renteln (Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal) with Dr. Neal Shahidi as co-principal investigator and multiple expert centres worldwide. This team grant will fund a randomized controlled trial comparing novel closure techniques to reduce the risk of significant bleeding following endoscopic mucosal resection of large colorectal polyps.
