SPARC success continues. Congratulations to Dr. Neal Shahidi for being awarded the Michael Smith Health Research BC (MSHRBC) Scholar Award, which is valued at $450,000 over five years.

His submission, “Organ-sparing minimally-invasive endoscopic resection techniques program: incorporating high-quality endoscopic management into everyday clinical practice” reflects the SPARC program and its endeavours.

Dr. Shahidi is the first gastroenterologist in BC to win this prestigious award.
