SPARC is pleased to announce that a Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) grant of $1,101,600 over three years has been awarded to a team led by Dr. Daniel von Renteln (Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal) with Dr. Neal Shahidi and multiple expert centres from around the world. This team grant will fund the first randomized controlled trial for minimally invasive endoscopic resection techniques in Canada, comparing established recurrence mitigation techniques for large colorectal polyps which underwent endoscopic mucosal resection.
